Howdy!!!! Colbert Museum Magnet Elementary School Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year. I’m Wilda-Cassandra Tany, your proud PTO President, and it is truly an honor to serve our school community once again. As we get ready to ride into an exciting year together, I’d love to share a little about myself.

I am a proud Haitian American woman of faith. My relationship with God is at the heart of who I am and how I lead. I am a mother, a community leader, a Phlebotomist, and I hold a degree in Healthcare Administration. I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Nursing, continuing my journey of growth, purpose, and service. My passion is to be a light in the lives of others and to uplift and inspire wherever I go.

The mission of our Parent Teacher Organization remains strong and clear. We are here to empower our scholars by showing up for them and supporting our teachers and staff in every way possible. Our motto says it best:
"We are more than just a village, we are a family".

As a family, we support one another, encourage success, and believe in the power of showing up. We know that when families are present and involved, it makes a lasting difference in our scholars’ education and lives. That’s why we are committed to creating school events that excite our scholars about learning, foster family engagement, and strengthen our community.

This year’s school theme is Western, and we are ready to lasso in an amazing year filled with fun, connection, and achievement. With our boots on the ground and hearts united, we’ll make this a year our scholars will never forget.
